Last summer, Lora joined CLIMB Wyoming to gain employment in a professional environment that provided opportunities for advancement. She is the proud mother of two children, but struggled to support her family through her job as a service technician.
During the program, Lora gained extensive job and life skills training and was placed in a position with an oil field testing company. "CLIMB gave me a better way to view my life, my family, my feelings and the world around me," says Lora. "My life was not going where I wanted it to be, but CLIMB helped me turn a new direction."
Lora's new job is a great match for her skills and goals and she and her children are thriving. She is now earning $26 per hour and has full benefits. She plans to own a home someday and has been enjoying "some simple pleasures" with her children instead of feeling fearful about her finances. "My children can now see their mother doing something with her life that she
is proud of," said Lora.
We are thrilled to share Lora's success and look forward to her bright future!
